A thing that makes

wishes come true

Make a Wish makes once-in-a-lifetime things happen for kids living with critical illness.

They need to raise cash to do this – and for that, they need awareness.

I wondered if we could encourage donations by making something that looked like it could make wishes come true, and selling it.

We'd then have a device that actually did make wishes come true, which by its very nature would create a large amount of awareness.

What a thing that makes wishes come true looks like.

The device would be made through Kickstarter.

People would donate to build specific elements of it.

i,e. $20 for a 'wish deployment actuator', or $50 for a 'resonating wonder funnel'

It would be unlike anything the world has ever seen.

When complete, the Wishmaker 9000 would be a museum-quality item that has raised enough capital to make hundreds of kids'

wishes come true.
