The UK Labour Party pitch was a 24hr turnaround. I wrote the ad that won the account for Saatchi & Saatchi London. It never ran as a poster, and no one had heard of ‘earned media’ back then – but if they had, the jpeg below would have billions of impressions. It was on the front page of all the UK papers, all over the TV news, and reported on worldwide. It even got talked about on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

I then went on to be Creative Director on the account, overseeing the 2010 general election. A crazy, exhausting, but very interesting experience. Meetings at 10 Downing Street, firing out ads whenever required, and having a bit of fun too. Who said drinking and politics don’t mix…
